Spanish
Mrs. Linda Bowling
Linda Bowling has taught French and Spanish for 39 years. Her BA in French and Spanish are from UCO. She also holds a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from UCO. Linda is married and has three children and seven grandchildren.

Algebra II
Mrs. Josie Braddy
Josie served in the Air Force as a Network Communications Specialist and earned an Associate’s degree. It was not until she got to college that she realized she loved math. Instead of completing a Bachelor’s, she decided to homeschool her own children. She taught her son math through Algebra II. She has also tutored students in high school math classes. She is a part of a family that loves mathematics and she hopes to share that love with your child.

Science
Ms. Karen Evans
Karen holds a Masters in Secondary Counseling and a Bachelor of Science degree from East Central University.

Middle / High School Music Appreciation
Kristin Geddes
Kristin has been married 25 years, and has homeschooled her 4 children for 15 years. She has a Bachelor's in Music Education from Baylor University, a Master's in Musical Theater Performance from Oklahoma City University, and has taught elementary music for 5 years before kids. She has taught music classes for 10 years at co-ops as well.

English, History
Mrs. Angela Griffin
Angela has a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in History from California State University. She is married to Harve and they have two children.

Psychology, American Sign Language
Mrs. Sheila Ives
Sheila has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. She worked as an interpreter/tutor for deaf students in Kansas and Oklahoma school districts for fourteen years and has worked with the signing deaf population for over thirty years. She is married to Bob and they have four children.

Cathy Joy
Cathy Joy has taught Math for 39 years and Special Education for 3 years.
Her BA in Middle School Math is from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
She also has a Master’s Degree in Reading from UCO. Cathy is married and has
two sons.

Science
Mr. George Knapp
George Knapp received a Bachelor of Science Education from UCO in 2000. He is married and has four children. He really enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Algebra I / Geometry
Carreybeth Lehew
Carreybeth earned her bachelor’s degree in education with a music minor from Baylor University. She added math endorsements to her degree through Tulsa Community College. Her passion is working with middle school and high school students, teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and Geometry. She married her college sweetheart, and became a stay-at-home mom to five children. Her most recent experience was tutoring in the Challenge level program for Classical Conversations. She continues to homeschool her two youngest children.

ACT Prep
Mrs. Susie Nix
Susie Nix graduated from Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas with a degree in Music Education. Susie has 30 years of experience in preparing students for the ACT Exam. She has seen success in helping students raise their ACT score, help them fill out applications for college, and also gain entrance into college. She and her husband reside in Oklahoma City.

Government
Mr. Brent Olsson
Brent graduated from Oral Roberts University with a bachelor’s degree in history. In 1988 he attained a Juris Doctor Law Degree from the University of Tulsa. He is chairman of the Excel Board of Directors. He is married to Jene’ and they have three children.

Understanding the Times
Mrs. Vickie Spicer
Vickie has taught Understanding the Times since 2009 after home educating for 17 years. She has a passion for students to understand and engage the culture from a Christian worldview. She is married to Don and they have two children.

Art
Mrs. Charlotte Strickland
Charlotte trained extensively in art under a local Oklahoma artist as well as being a homeschool graduate. She has been teaching/tutoring art for 10+ years.

Many of our teachers raised or are raising homeschooled children.
